Applications & Formulation Notes

Overview

Our Reishi Powder is made from premium Ganoderma lucidum (Red Reishi) fruiting bodies, sourced from GAP-certified mountainous bases. Harvested at optimal maturity, it is processed by dual extraction (water + alcohol) and low-temperature cryo-milling (<45°C) to preserve heat-sensitive components.

Standardized actives: ≥25% polysaccharides (≥15% β-glucans), ≥4% triterpenes, ≥0.1% adenosine, ≥50 ppm organic germanium. Advantages: pure fruiting-body sourcing (no mycelium / spores), ultra-fine particle size (D90 ≤ 100 µm), and clean label (non-GMO, organic, no additives / residues).

Key Active Compounds

  • Polysaccharides (≥25%, β-glucans ≥15%) — primary characterized fraction and basis of standardization.
  • Triterpenes (≥4%) — characterized minor fraction.
  • Organic Germanium (≥50 ppm) — naturally associated trace element.
  • Other constituents — ≥7% protein, ≥35% dietary fiber, and naturally present vitamins / minerals.

Researched Activities

Reishi is among the most extensively studied medicinal mushrooms. The following reflect areas reported in published research and are provided for formulation context, not as product claims:

  • Immune research — β-glucan polysaccharides have been studied in research relating to immune-modulation endpoints.
  • Antioxidant research — studied in radical-scavenging assays.

Application Areas

  • Dietary supplements — capsules, tablets and instant powders for immune-support positioning.
  • Functional foods & beverages — teas, shakes and baked goods.
  • Cosmetics — antioxidant ingredient in topical formulations.
  • Pharmaceutical & veterinary — raw material for immune and liver-support formulations.

Why GreeneryBio

  • Pure fruiting-body sourcing with standardized β-glucan content.
  • Dual extraction and low-temperature cryo-milling.
